Terestella González Denton has an extensive background in economic and tourism development in both public and private sectors. She held the position of Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) from 2005 to 2008.

She is the Dean of the International School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts and Executive Director for Kingbird Innovation Center of Universidad del Este. In 2007, she was recognized by Travel Weekly Magazine as one of the 33 most influential persons in the international travel and tourism industry worldwide. She has also been recognized as an outstanding Caribbean leader by the Caribbean Media Exchange (CMEx) receiving the 2013 Caribbean Media Exchange Leadership Award. She also received in the year 2013 the Sales Marketing Executive Top Management Awards as a Leader in the Tourism Industry.

Mrs. Gonzalez Denton holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain.
